On July 8, 2025, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) successfully organized a stakeholder forum on hospital wastewater management as part of the NEUTRAL4GS project. The event was held at the Novotel Bangkok Future Park Rangsit and gathered over 30 participants from 10 organizations.
The forum brought together a diverse group, including hospital practitioners, private sector entrepreneurs, researchers from the European Union, national research institutes, leading academic institutions, and media representatives. The main goals were to discuss challenges in managing hospital wastewater, identify key obstacles, and analyze the demand for tailored technological solutions in Thailand.
Participants explored opportunities to develop and implement sustainable treatment systems suited to local contexts. The event also aimed to build collaborative networks among various stakeholders and collect insights that will guide future research and pilot projects.
Outcomes from the forum will support RMUTT and its European partners in designing an environmentally friendly and socially sustainable pilot project for hospital wastewater treatment. This initiative underscores the commitment to advancing innovative, context-sensitive solutions that address both environmental and societal needs.
This forum marks an important milestone for NEUTRAL4GS in promoting sustainable water management technologies and strengthening international research collaborations.
The project started on 1 January 2025 and has a duration of 48 months. It was submitted to the call HORIZON-MSCA-2023-SE-01; Type of Action: HORIZON-TMA-MSCA-SE. The EU contribution is EUR 740,600.00 This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe under grant agreement No 101182652.
